The Flagstaff cuts through the complexity of owning multiple rifles by letting you move between different actions and calibers using the same stock. Just swap the Universal Mini Chassis (UMC) bedding block from one rifle to another and drop it into the Flagstaff. No need to buy entirely new stocks for each rifle.
Molded from impact-resistant polymer, this stock handles hard use without flinching. The material is proven in military and industrial applications, so it won't let you down in adverse weather or rough conditions. At 2.5 pounds with the UMC installed, it won't slow you down on the hike in. An 11.25-inch forend with textured finger grooves keeps your hand stable during off-hand shots, and the 35-degree grip angle is natural and familiar for traditional hunting.
The UMC system acts as your bottom metal, meaning AICS magazines drop straight into the stock with no additional parts required. Standard short mags work for short actions, and the longer 3.850-inch AICS mags handle long-action calibers. The forend has molded M-LOK slots for adding picatinny rails, arca rails, or other accessories, while two QD sling attachment points let you get set up and moving quick.
If there's a UMC available for your action, it fits the Flagstaff. Remington 700 clones, Howa 1500, Ruger American, even Mossberg Patriot owners can build around this stock. Short action or long action doesn't matter. Once you sight in your rifle on the UMC, you can remove the rifle and swap the UMC to a different action without losing zero.
Yes. You bolt each rifle to its own UMC specific to that action, then swap the UMCs in and out of the stock as needed. A Remington 700 short action rifle and a Howa long action rifle can both use the same Flagstaff by simply swapping their respective UMCs. Once you sight in, your zero is retained even when you remove the UMC and rifle.
