The Firefield FF34024 is a no-fuss bipod built to give your rifle or shotgun a rock-steady rest whether you're punching paper at the range, sitting on a hunt, or running a match. The legs adjust from 9 to 14 inches, so you can dial in a comfortable height for prone shooting or a slightly taller setup when the ground gets uneven. A padded stock mount keeps things quiet and protects your fore-end, while rubber feet dig in for grip and cut down on wobble.
Install is about as simple as it gets. The bipod attaches directly to your firearm's sling swivel stud with no gunsmithing or permanent changes to your rifle. If you're running a railed fore-end instead, the included Picatinny adapter has you covered, so this one works across a lot of different setups. The whole thing is built from aluminum, which keeps it light at roughly 16 ounces and easy to toss in a pack or range bag.
This isn't just a fixed two-leg stand. The FF34024 has a pivot mount with an adjustable tension knob, so you can cant the rifle to track a target across sloped or bumpy terrain and lock in as much or as little resistance as you like. Snug the knob down for a firm hold or back it off for smoother movement. It's the kind of feature that makes follow-up shots on rolling ground a lot less frustrating.
Collapsed, it measures about 10 x 3.2 x 1.7 inches, so it stores flat and travels well. Firefield backs it with a three-year warranty, which is a nice bit of reassurance on a bipod meant to earn its keep at the range and in the field. For anyone wanting more stability without hauling around a heavy precision rig, this compact Firefield hits a practical middle ground.
It mounts directly to your firearm's sling swivel stud, so there's no gunsmithing or permanent modification needed. If your fore-end has a Picatinny rail instead of a stud, the included adapter lets you clamp it right on. That flexibility means it fits a wide range of rifles and shotguns.
The legs extend from 9 inches up to 14 inches, giving you room to set up for prone shooting or raise it slightly for uneven ground. This range covers most bench and field situations without being bulky. It collapses down small enough to stash in a range bag between uses.
Yes, it has a pivot mount with an adjustable tension knob. You can rotate the knob to loosen it up for smoother tracking or tighten it down for a firmer hold. That makes it easier to keep the rifle level when you're shooting across sloped or bumpy terrain.
It's designed to fit both rifle and shotgun barrels, as long as your firearm has a swivel stud or a Picatinny rail for the adapter. The padded stock mount helps protect the fore-end while adding stability. It's a solid pick for anyone wanting a steadier hold without a heavy, expensive setup.
