The Firebird 65IR takes the popular 65BIO reactive target and adds a special infrared reflective coating, so these show up when you're running night vision or directed-light devices. Each one is a self-contained pyrotechnic target that gives you a brilliant microsecond flash, a solid percussion, and a cloud of white smoke the instant your round lands. That kind of feedback is what Firebird calls Instant Hit Recognition, and it means you can leave the spotting scope in the bag and just watch for the reaction downrange.
The reflective coating is highly responsive to both white light and infrared, which is the whole point of this model. If you've got a thermal or NV setup and want targets that give you honest feedback in the dark, this is the one to grab. Going dark and shooting these is a genuinely good time, and it doubles as real training when the light drops.
Each target rides on a biodegradable polymer shell that shatters completely and dissolves over time, so there's no cleanup and nothing left scattered across your range. At 65mm they're small enough to fit in the palm of your hand but wide enough to be an easy target across a range of distances. No mixing, no prep, no binary components. They ship ready to use.
