When you're spending serious time at the trap or skeet range, or just running through practice boxes on the berm, you need shells that keep working without the premium price tag. Fiocchi Shooting Dynamics hit that sweet spot for a reason. They combine first-run chilled lead shot with single-piece wads and clean-burning powder to give you patterns you can count on, box after box.
These 2.75-inch 12 gauge shells load 1-1/8 ounces of quality chilled lead shot with a muzzle velocity of 1200 fps. That's a standard velocity profile for clay target work, which means balanced recoil and the kind of consistency that translates to tighter groups. The cushioned wads and non-corrosive Fiocchi primers keep the internals clean through extended shooting sessions. After running hundreds of rounds through your gun, you'll notice the difference when you wipe it down.
The Shooting Dynamics line was engineered specifically for people who shoot a lot. Whether you're competing in registered matches or just grinding out practice rounds, these shells deliver the performance you expect at every box. The 25-round boxes stack up efficiently in your range bag, and the ten-box cases are designed for serious practice schedules. You get all the quality control and consistent components that made Fiocchi a recognized name in clay shooting, without the extra cost you'd pay for their premium lines.
These loads work across the board for sporting clays, trap, and skeet competition. The #8 shot size is the standard choice for clay target sports because it provides the density and pattern integrity needed at typical shooting distances. Feed them through your semi-auto, over-under, or side-by-side without hesitation.
#8 shot is smaller and denser than larger sizes like #7.5 or #6, which means more pellets per load and tighter patterns at typical clay range distances. The smaller pellet size is the standard choice for skeet and trap because it provides the density needed for consistent hits on clay targets without excessive recoil.
Yes. The 1200 fps velocity and standard wad design work reliably in semi-auto shotguns. That said, reliability can vary by individual gun, so it's worth running a test box through yours to confirm proper cycling, as with any ammunition.
Absolutely. These shells are designed for the working clay target shooter and perform well in both casual practice sessions and registered competition rounds. Many competitive shooters rely on them for breaking targets efficiently without the premium pricing of specialized match-grade loads.
Fiocchi maintains consistent quality across their Shooting Dynamics line by using the same manufacturing standards as their premium loads, including chilled lead shot, single-piece wads, and clean-burning powders. The difference is in the overall value proposition rather than a compromise on component quality.
