The titanium receiver follows the familiar 700 pattern footprint, so scope bases and rings are easy to come by, and it comes drilled and tapped from the factory. The two lug bolt runs a short 70 degree throw with spiral fluting for smooth, grit shedding cycling, and the adjustable TriggerTech trigger breaks clean so you can tune it to your liking. Feeding comes from a 3+1 internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate, which keeps the belly of the rifle slick and snag free in the field.
The 7mm Backcountry cartridge was designed to produce magnum level velocities from shorter barrels, and the 22 inch tube here is a smart match.
