The Fierce Firearms Twisted Rogue XP in 6.5 Creedmoor is the kind of rifle that makes you rethink what a hunting gun should cost. It's the most wallet-friendly option in the Fierce Rogue family, but you wouldn't guess that from how it shoots. Fierce backs every one of these with a .75 MOA accuracy guarantee, which is serious territory for a rifle meant to live in the truck and the treeline. Starting around 6.3 pounds, the 18-inch barrel keeps things nimble for mountain miles and tight blinds without giving up the ballistics the 6.5 Creedmoor is loved for.
At the heart of this rifle is the proven Fierce Dual-Lug stainless steel action with a 70-degree bolt throw and a spiral-fluted, DLC-coated bolt that runs smooth and sheds weight. The match-grade #4 contour barrel gets a deep spiral flute that trims ounces and helps with cooling, and it comes threaded 5/8×24 so you can run most commercial suppressors right off the box. Fierce also includes the NIX side-port self-timing muzzle brake standard, so recoil on an already soft-shooting cartridge stays very manageable.
The TriggerTech Primary Pro is a big part of why this rifle punches above its price. It ships set at 2.5 pounds and adjusts from 1.5 to 4 pounds, with that clean, predictable break TriggerTech built its name on. The lightweight carbon Rogue stock features an LR negative comb and an integrated rail setup, plus QD flush cups for your sling. This XP configuration uses a detachable drop-box magazine that's AICS-compatible, giving you a 3+1 capacity and fast, clean reloads in the field.
The GL/PH designation refers to the Glacier and Phantom camo colorway, so you're getting a finish that blends in as well as it performs. For hunters who want a dialed-in long-range setup for deer, antelope, or anything the 6.5 Creedmoor handles well, this one is tough to beat for the money.
Yes. The barrel comes threaded 5/8×24, which is the standard pitch for most commercial 6.5mm suppressors. It ships with the NIX side-port self-timing muzzle brake installed, so you can run the brake or swap it for your can without extra gunsmithing.
The XP model uses a detachable drop-box magazine that is AICS-compatible, giving you a 3+1 capacity in 6.5 Creedmoor. The AICS pattern means replacement and spare magazines are easy to source. It makes field reloads a lot faster than a fixed floorplate setup.
Fierce backs this rifle with a .75 MOA accuracy guarantee, which translates to groups under three-quarters of an inch at 100 yards with quality ammo. The match-grade spiral-fluted barrel and TriggerTech trigger are a big reason it holds that standard. Finding an ammo your particular rifle likes will get you the tightest groups.
It is. The 18-inch barrel gives up a little velocity compared to a 20 or 22-inch tube, but the 6.5 Creedmoor stays efficient and flat-shooting well past most hunting distances. The shorter barrel also makes the rifle handier in the field and quicker to maneuver in a blind or on a steep climb.
