The Fierce Alpha in this configuration is a dedicated left-hand 12 gauge over/under, made in Italy, with the stock geometry and pistol grip oriented for a lefty mount. Add the push-button adjustable comb on the oiled Turkish walnut stock and you can dial in cheek weld and sight alignment instead of fighting the gun.
The 30 inch HD40 steel barrels are back-bored with Fierce's Overbore system, which helps soften felt recoil and tighten up patterns. Up top, a tapered vent rib runs from 10mm down to 7mm and carries a white front bead with a brass mid-bead, giving you a clean, consistent sight picture from mount to break. The mechanical trigger can be tuned down to around 3.5 pounds, and automatic ejectors kick hulls clear so you can reload fast between stations. At roughly 7.8 pounds, it swings with the kind of steady, planted feel you want on crossers and long presentations.
Instead of high-gloss bluing that shows every scratch, Fierce went with Cerakote H190 Armour Black on the forged steel receiver and a satin black Cerakote finish on the barrels. That combination shrugs off weather and range wear, which matters if this gun is pulling double duty between the clays course and a dove field. The 3 inch chambers give you flexibility on loads, and the fluted finger grooves on the sporting forend keep your lead hand locked in.
This one ships properly outfitted: an ABS hard case, seven extended Overbore choke tubes with their own case, and a spare set of firing pins. That's a level of completeness you don't often see at this tier, and it means no scrambling for accessories before your first round of sporting clays. For left-handed folks who've been waiting on a serious over/under that fits right out of the case, this is a strong answer.
It's a dedicated left-hand build, not a compromise. The pistol grip and stock geometry are oriented for a left-handed mount, and the adjustable comb lets you fine-tune cheek height so your eye lines up naturally down the rib. That's a big deal, since most over/unders in this class only come in right-hand configurations.
It ships with seven extended Overbore chokes: Full, Improved Modified, Light Modified, Modified, Improved Cylinder, Cylinder, and Skeet. That spread covers everything from close skeet targets to longer sporting presentations and upland hunting. With 3 inch chambers, it handles standard target loads and heavier field loads alike.
Quite well for a 7.8 pound gun. The back-bored HD40 steel barrels are designed to reduce felt recoil while improving pattern quality, and the gun's weight sits in that sweet spot where it soaks up target loads without feeling sluggish on the swing.
