Fierce built the Carbon Rage LR for the hunter who wants a rifle that shoots like a bench gun but carries like a mountain rifle, and in .300 PRC that combination makes a lot of sense. The heart of it is the Fierce Triad 3-lug stainless steel action with a fast 70 degree bolt throw, so your hand clears even oversized scope bells when you cycle it. The bolt and action wear an Armour Lube black coating that keeps everything running slick in cold, wet, or dusty conditions where a mountain rifle earns its keep.
The LR version takes the standard Carbon Rage and adds the stuff long range shooters kept asking for. The Rage LR carbon fiber stock has a push button adjustable comb, so you can dial in cheek weld for whatever scope height you're running instead of fighting your rifle for a consistent sight picture. You also get an improved palm swell, an integral Picatinny rail up front for a bipod, and a mounting platform for a Swiss Arca plate. A Match Grade adjustable TriggerTech trigger handles fire control, and the 3-position safety lets you work the bolt and unload with the safety still engaged.
The 22 inch Fierce C3 carbon fiber barrel is match grade with a hand lapped, stress relieved liner, threaded and topped with an included stainless radial muzzle brake that takes real bite out of the .300 PRC's recoil. Fierce stands behind it with a 1/2 MOA accuracy guarantee and ships a certified test target with the rifle to prove it. Feeding comes from a detachable drop box magazine holding three rounds plus one in the chamber.
At around 6.4 pounds bare, this is the kind of rifle that makes sense for elk country, open plains mule deer, or anywhere shots can stretch out past where most rifles get uncomfortable. Fierce backs it with a limited lifetime warranty, which says plenty about how they feel about their own work.
The LR (Long Range) version keeps everything from the standard Carbon Rage and adds a push button adjustable comb, a flush Arca rail mounting platform, and an improved palm swell on the stock. Those upgrades are aimed at shooters running bigger optics and shooting from bipods or tripods at extended distances. It's the better fit if you plan to stretch this rifle out past typical hunting ranges.
The long action 22 inch barrel configuration runs right around 6.4 pounds before you add glass. That's remarkably light for a magnum chambered rifle with this feature set, thanks to the C3 carbon fiber barrel and carbon stock. It's very much built with mountain hunters in mind, and the included radial brake keeps the .300 PRC manageable despite the low weight.

It is. The 22 inch match grade carbon fiber barrel comes threaded from the factory with the stainless radial brake installed, so you can swap to a suppressor whenever you like. Just keep in mind that removing the brake will bump up felt recoil on a rifle this light in .300 PRC.
