The ALG-00 is designed for flashlights with a body diameter between 0.9 and 1.02 inches (22.5-26mm). This includes most Fenix tactical models like the PD32, PD35, PD36, TK16, TK20R, TK26R, and TK30, but also many other quality 1-inch diameter lights. If your flashlight's barrel falls within that range, the mount will clamp it securely.
Simply press inward on the quick-release levers on both sides of the clip and slide the mount onto your picatinny rail. Once you release the levers, they lock in place automatically. No tools or screws required. The entire process takes seconds, and removing it is just as fast when you need to convert your light back to handheld use.
The ALG-00 mounts to the rail tool-free, but the flashlight itself is secured with a hex head cap screw for a tight, recoil-resistant hold. You'll need the included Allen wrench to loosen that screw when changing lights. This trade-off keeps your flashlight rock-solid during use while still staying simple to work with.
Picatinny rail tolerances vary slightly between manufacturers. If you experience minor movement, the quick-release lever tension can usually be adjusted, and the included spare rubber cushions can help with mounting surface compatibility.
