Federal Black Cloud FS 12GA 3in #1 Steel Shot – 25rd Box

Description

Federal Black Cloud FS gives you the pattern density and reliability that serious waterfowl hunters depend on. The FLITECONTROL FLEX wad features redesigned rear-deploying petals and side-mounted vents that separate the shot at precisely the right moment, creating the kind of dense, uniform patterns that mean clean kills at distance.

Black Cloud FS Steel Pattern Performance

The payload is engineered with 40% FLITESTOPPER steel pellets and 60% Premium steel, combining the hardness and penetration you need with the shot density that fills your pattern. That mix gives you 129 pellets per shell moving downrange at 1450 fps, delivering the range and energy you expect in challenging waterfowl situations. The #1 shot size handles everything from ducks to geese with real stopping power.

Wad Design That Actually Works

What sets this load apart is how the FLITECONTROL FLEX wad performs with both ported and standard waterfowl chokes. Ported barrels have always been tricky with traditional wads because the venting can interfere with wad separation. Federal solved this by extending the fins and adding support gussets, so they deploy consistently every time. That means you get the same reliable pattern whether you're shooting a highly ported gun or a standard barrel.

Built for Real Hunting Conditions

The Catalyst lead-free primer and temperature-stable propellant burn clean and consistent across the wide temperature swings you'll see in waterfowl season. The sealed crimp and black nickel-plated head resist moisture, so these shells perform when conditions get wet and brutal. Your barrel stays cleaner between shoots, which matters when you're running multiple loads through the same gun all season.
