The 125 grain is the traditional hot-rod .357 load. It runs faster than heavier bullets but with less penetration depth. At 1440 fps, this particular load balances velocity and energy well. Heavier 158 grain rounds will hit harder but recoil more. The 125 grain is ideal if you want a balance of power, shootability, and performance.
Train & Protect ammunition is loaded for standard .357 Magnum pressure and will function in any revolver chambered for .357 Magnum. Just make sure your firearm is actually chambered for .357 and not .38 Special, which is a different cartridge that won't handle this power level safely.
