The Faxon Match Series threaded barrel is one of the cleaner ways to wake up a Glock 19 without touching a single tool. It's machined start to finish in Faxon's own shop from stress-relieved 416-R stainless steel, then given a black nitride finish inside and out to boost lubricity, extend barrel life, and shrug off surface wear. What you get is tighter-than-factory tolerances that lock up more consistently than the OEM barrel, which is exactly where the accuracy gains come from.
The headliner here is the patented Flame Fluted profile. Beyond the aggressive look it gives your slide, that fluting trims weight off the barrel and adds surface area for better heat dissipation during longer strings of fire. Under the hood you've got button rifling with a 1:10 twist, a SAAMI-spec 9mm chamber, and an 11-degree target crown for consistent bullet release. The rifling is conventional, so unlike a stock Glock barrel it plays nice with cast lead ammo if that's what feeds your practice habit.
The muzzle is cut with 1/2×28 threads, the standard pitch for 9mm suppressors and compensators, and it ships with a thread protector so the threads stay clean until you're ready to mount something. Overall length runs about 4.47 inches, meaning the threaded section pokes past the slide a touch, which is completely normal for any threaded barrel setup. It fits Glock 19, 19X, and G45 slides across Gen 2 through Gen 5.
Installation is genuinely plug-and-play into factory-spec slides with no gunsmithing required. Drop it in, function check, and you're running. It works with most factory and aftermarket slides, and Faxon backs the whole thing with a lifetime guarantee, which tells you how they feel about their machining. Whether you're building out a range toy, a competition gun, or a suppressor host, this is a solid foundation to build on.
Yes. It's designed as a true drop-in fit for factory-spec Glock 19 slides, so no gunsmithing or fitting is required. It covers Gen 2 through Gen 5, including the 19X and G45. Just swap it in, do a function check, and you're good to run.
That's exactly what the threaded muzzle is for. It's cut with 1/2×28 threads, the standard pitch for most 9mm suppressors and compensators. A thread protector comes included to keep the threads clean until you're ready to mount something.
The threaded section does protrude slightly past the slide, since overall length runs about 4.47 inches versus a stock non-threaded G19 barrel around 4.02 inches. This is completely normal for any threaded pistol barrel. The thread protector or your muzzle device sits on that exposed section.
Yes. Unlike Glock's factory polygonal rifling, this barrel uses conventional button rifling, which safely handles cast lead ammunition. That makes it a good match for reloaders and high-volume range shooters who run cast bullets to keep costs down.
