The .338 ARC is Hornady's answer to shooters who want big-bore stopping power out of a standard AR-15, and this Faxon Match Series barrel is built to get the most out of it. At 9 inches with a pistol-length gas system, it's a short, maneuverable package meant for pistol builds, SBRs, and truck guns where every inch counts. The cartridge runs on a 6.5 Grendel case, so it feeds through AR-15 mags and works with a 6.5 Grendel bolt face, no large-frame receiver required.

Faxon cuts this one from 416R stainless steel, stress-relieves it, air-gauge tests it, and MPI inspects it before finishing it in Black Nitride for corrosion resistance and long service life. It pairs with dedicated .338 cans as well as many .45-caliber and .300 BLK-rated 9mm suppressors. Always confirm your suppressor's caliber rating before mounting it up.
The Gunner profile mixes the strength of a Gov't contour with the lighter weight of a pencil profile. That shifts the balance point back toward you, which cuts down on fatigue and improves handling on short, maneuverable platforms. It also manages heat well for a barrel this size.
