The carbine-length gas system is the correct pairing for a 10.5 inch barrel, giving you reliable cycling across a wide spread of ammo. A fixed .750 inch low-profile gas block and stainless gas tube handle the plumbing, while Faxon's Superfinished nitrided M16 bolt carrier group keeps cycling smooth and cleanup quick.
The forged upper and lower receivers include a tensioning screw in the lower, so you can snug up any play between the halves for a tight, rattle-free fit. Up front, Faxon's 9 inch Streamline aluminum M-LOK handguard free-floats the barrel and gives you plenty of room for a light, sling mount, or hand stop, with a full-length top rail for optics and backup sights. A Magpul Gen M2 30-round magazine ships in the box.
