Chambered in 9mm Luger, it pairs the redesigned FX-19 Gen 2 compact polymer frame with a slide machined from 416-R stainless and finished in black DLC for a tough, slick exterior that wipes down easy after range day.
The slide carries enhanced front, rear, and top serrations that give you a solid grip for press checks and slow-fire manipulations, even with gloves on. Up top you get a Trijicon RMR footprint optic cut with a removable cover plate, so dropping a red dot on it is straightforward and you are not stuck waiting on a milling service. The black polymer frame includes a Picatinny rail for a weapon light or laser, and the textured grip gives you confident purchase without shredding your hands during a long session.

Yes. Faxon built the FX-19 Gen 2 compact frame around the Glock 19 Gen 3 footprint, so it runs standard Glock 19 magazines including 10, 15, and extended capacities. If you already own G19 mags, they will feed this pistol with no fuss.
It comes optic ready with a Trijicon RMR footprint cut and a removable cover plate. That footprint also fits a number of popular Holosun models, so you have plenty of red dot options. You just remove the plate and mount your optic with no milling required.
The Duty is the compact-frame entry point of the FX-19 Gen 2 family. The Patriot and Hellfire variants step up to Match Series flame-fluted barrels, with the Hellfire adding a threaded barrel for suppressors and compensators. The Duty keeps things straightforward and durable for everyday carry and training.

In most cases, yes. The Gen 2 frame is built to the Glock 19 Gen 3 spec, so Gen 3 holsters, frame parts, and rail-mounted lights generally fit right up. Keep in mind that Glock Gen 4 and Gen 5 specific parts are not guaranteed to fit due to different frame geometry.
