The FAB Defense Spike M Precision Bipod is one of those pieces of kit that feels a lot more expensive than it is the moment you handle it. It clamps directly to an M-LOK handguard, so there's no fumbling with extra hardware, and once it's on there it stays put with almost no play. The secret here is the hybrid build. FAB Defense uses hardened steel, aircraft-grade 6061 T-6 aluminum, and a high-performance polymer composite, which keeps the weight down around 13.5 ounces while still feeling seriously rigid. The inner legs are rectangular rather than round, and that shape cuts down on wobble and flex when you're loading into it. The rubberized feet grip hard surfaces and dirt alike, and they pop off tool-free if you ever need to swap them.
The rotating head is where this bipod earns its keep. You get 60 degrees of spring-loaded pan and 20 degrees of tilt, and both can be locked down solid or released for smooth target tracking. The legs snap into four positions at 0, 45, 90, and 135 degrees, so you can adapt to whatever terrain or shooting angle you're dealing with. Height adjusts fast too: pull the leg extension down to raise it, hit the button to bring it back in. Standard height runs from 180mm up to 251mm at the 90-degree position, and the included leg extensions give you extra reach for prone work.

This model clamps straight onto an M-LOK slot, so no rail adapter is needed for M-LOK handguards. If your rifle uses a Picatinny rail or a sling swivel stud instead, you'd want the Picatinny version of the Spike or a different mounting solution. For M-LOK setups, it's a direct, no-fuss install.
In the standard configuration the legs run from 180mm to 251mm at the 90-degree position. The Spike M also comes with additional leg extensions that give you extra height when you need it. Raising the legs is as simple as pulling the extension down, and a button press brings them back in.
