The ETS Omega 9mm magazine brings over a decade of polymer magazine engineering into a purpose-built magazine for the Sig P320. This isn't a stripped-down budget option. The core improvement comes from ETS's hybrid design: a durable translucent polymer body backed by hardened steel feedlips and an internal steel frame. This combination cuts weight compared to traditional metal magazines while the patent-pending Omega Joint wraps 360 degrees around the magazine body for structural strength where it matters most.
The translucent smoke polymer used in the Omega line won't crack or become brittle when dropped or exposed to extreme temperatures and harsh conditions. ETS engineered this polymer to handle impact while maintaining flexibility, so the magazine resists deformation during storage and use. The hardened steel feedlips ensure consistent round feeding through your pistol without the mushrooming or wear you'd see in a pure polymer design. A military-grade Teflon coating adds another layer of protection against corrosion and reduces friction in the mag well, which means smoother reloads and less stick in tactical situations.
See exactly how many rounds you have left and what type of ammunition is loaded without removing the magazine from your gun. The translucent smoke finish stays visible without being completely transparent, and the red follower makes it easy to spot at a glance or under stress. This translucent design is more than cosmetic. During tactical reloads or range training, you can quickly assess your remaining capacity before deciding whether to top off or swap mags entirely. Real-world shooters know magazine management wins matches and drills.
ETS backs the Omega with a lifetime warranty. The magazine drops free from the P320 reliably and seats consistently when you insert it. The ergonomic floorplate design gives you something to grip when pulling the mag from pouches or mag holders, and the base plate disassembles easily for cleaning or maintenance. The 15-round capacity fits P320 Compact frames, and compatibility with Glock-pattern baseplates opens up aftermarket base pad options if you want to customize fit or appearance later.
The 15-round Omega is designed for P320 Compact frames. If you have a full-size P320, ETS also makes 17-round and larger capacity Omega magazines that will seat flush or extend slightly on the full-size grip. Check which size frame you have before ordering to ensure proper fit and function.
The Omega line represents a significant step forward from older ETS polymer magazines. The new hardened steel feedlips, internal steel frame, and patent-pending Omega Joint design address previous reliability concerns. Recent reviews show the Omega magazines feed reliably and drop free consistently, though they're typically recommended for range training rather than duty use.
Yes, the Omega uses Glock-pattern baseplates, which means you can swap in aftermarket Glock-compatible base pads and extensions if you want to customize the magazine. This gives you flexibility for appearance, texture, or capacity adjustments down the road.
The translucent smoke body lets you see exactly how many rounds are loaded and what type of ammunition you have in the mag without opening it or removing it from your gun. The red follower is easy to spot even in low light, making it simple to do a quick ammo check before starting a drill or reloading during practice.
