Edgar Sherman Design didn't just tweak an existing pistol grip design with this one, they built the Granite Grip from scratch using a manufacturing process most companies in this industry don't touch. Instead of injection molding, ESD uses MJF 3D printing with Nylon 12, which lets them create textures and shapes that a traditional mold simply can't produce. The result is a grip that looks and feels different from anything else sitting on a shelf next to it, and in Ranger Green, it adds a little color to an otherwise all-black build without going full camo.
The coarse texture on this version is the aggressive option in ESD's lineup, built for guys running gloves or shooting in nasty weather where a smoother grip might slip. It's not subtle. The wrap-around pattern was tuned using 3D modeling so traction shows up where you need it and eases off where it doesn't, which helps avoid hot spots during long range sessions or repeated draws.
ESD dropped the grip angle down to 13.1 degrees compared to a standard mil-spec grip, which puts your wrist in a straighter, more natural line with your forearm. That angle was designed to work across a wide range of shooting positions, from prone precision work to close-quarters manipulation, and the geometry itself widens through the palm before tapering at the base so your hand settles into it rather than around it. The flat front face and chamfered edges aren't just cosmetic either, they help you index your hand the same way every time you pick the rifle up.

It bolts right up to standard AR-pattern lowers, whether that's a duty AR-15, an AR-10, or something built on an SR25 pattern, and it's designed, manufactured, and assembled here in the US from start to finish.

Yes, every Granite Grip ships with a one inch 18-8 passivated stainless steel button head hex drive screw and a Belleville lock washer. That means you can swap it onto your rifle straight out of the box without hunting down extra hardware.
