The .410 turkey movement is here to stay, and the Escort Field Hunter Turkey is one of the more approachable ways to get into it. This pump gun is chambered for 3" shells with a 4+1 capacity, and the 26" barrel is chrome plated inside and out to shrug off wet spring mornings and swampy fall sits. The whole gun is dressed in Mossy Oak Bottomland, a pattern that disappears against hardwoods and timber better than just about anything else out there.
Escort did not cut corners where it counts for a turkey gun, which is aiming. You get a red fiber optic front sight paired with a green fiber optic rear that adjusts for windage and elevation, so you can dial your point of impact to match your pattern. With modern TSS (tungsten super shot) loads, yes. TSS pellets are far denser than lead, so a 3" .410 shell can deliver lethal pattern density at realistic turkey distances. Yes. The receiver wears a 5" cantilever Weaver rail, so most micro red dots will bolt right on with a compatible mount. If you prefer irons, the fiber optic rear sight adjusts for windage and elevation so you can still fine-tune your point of impact.
