The Ergo TDX-0 takes the well-loved Tactical Deluxe Flat Top and reworks the geometry into a straight, zero degree grip angle. That vertical hand position is what precision shooters have been asking for, especially when the rifle sits tucked in close to the body and you want your trigger finger landing exactly where it should. Behind a chassis gun in the prone, the difference is easy to feel right away.
A traditional AR grip cants your wrist back, which works fine for run and gun but fights you when you settle into a stable, squared-up modern stance. The TDX-0 straightens all of that out. Your wrist stays neutral, your trigger pull comes back cleaner, and long sessions behind the gun feel a lot less fatiguing. It fits AR-15, AR-10 and AR-308 platforms, plus bolt action chassis systems and pretty much anything built to take a standard AR-style grip.
Ergo builds the TDX-0 with their overmolded SureGrip rubber and heavy Rhino Hide texture, the same all-weather surface that earned the brand its reputation. It anchors your hand whether you're dealing with sweat, rain, gloves or solvents, since the material shrugs off oils and common cleaners. The ambidextrous palm swells give both righties and lefties a full, supported hold. Worth noting, the palm swell on this one runs on the fuller side, so folks with smaller hands may want to handle one first to make sure it suits them.
Each TDX-0 is made in the USA and carries Ergo's lifetime guarantee, which tells you plenty about how they stand behind it. Installation is straightforward with the included hardware pack, and a 3/16 wrench makes seating the grip screw easy. If you're chasing better ergonomics on a precision build or a modern-stance carbine, this is a proven upgrade over a standard A2 grip.
The zero angle puts your hand in a straight, vertical position rather than canting your wrist back like a standard AR grip. This keeps your wrist neutral and lines up your trigger finger better for modern squared-up stances and prone precision work. Most people notice a cleaner trigger pull and less hand fatigue during longer sessions.
Yes. The TDX-0 is built to fit AR-15, AR-10 and AR-308 platforms along with bolt action chassis systems and any firearm that accepts a standard AR-style pistol grip. If your rifle uses the common AR grip mounting screw, this grip will bolt right on.
It's an overmolded rubber with Ergo's heavy Rhino Hide texture that gives you a secure, non-slip surface in wet, sweaty or gloved conditions. The material is also resistant to oils and common cleaning solvents, so it holds up well over time. It's the same grip surface Ergo has used for years on their proven designs.
Not at all. It comes with an installation hardware pack, and you just need a 3/16 wrench to seat the grip screw. Swapping it onto most AR lowers or chassis systems takes only a few minutes.
