The core is welded to AWS standards from US-origin, DFARS-compliant 6Al-4V titanium, so the low weight doesn't come at the cost of durability.
Inside, a 7-baffle core handles the sound reduction, and the internal surfaces get a boron nitride treatment to fight fouling and wear. Outside, the diamond-like carbon (DLC) finish shrugs off scratches and weather while keeping a clean, dark, low-glare look. One of the smarter touches is the serial ID ring. Since the serial number lives on the ring rather than the core, the factory can replace a damaged core without losing alignment or concentricity, which is a real peace-of-mind feature on a welded, tubeless design.
The LUX ships with a removable 5/8×24 direct thread mount, but the rear of the can uses the common 1.375×24 thread pattern. That opens the door to a huge range of mounting systems, including popular quick-detach setups, so moving the can between rifles is simple. It's rated for cartridges running 6.5mm (.264) or smaller projectiles, which covers 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, and even 223/5.56 hosts. There are no barrel length restrictions with non-magnum cartridges at moderate firing schedules, while magnums call for a 20 inch minimum barrel.

The LUX 6.5 is rated for any cartridge firing a 6.5mm (.264) or smaller projectile. That covers 6.5 Creedmoor and 6.5 PRC as well as smaller bores like 223/5.56 and 22 caliber centerfires. If you want to shoot 30 caliber cartridges, you'd want the LUX 7.62 version instead.
Yes. The rear of the suppressor uses the industry-standard 1.375×24 thread pattern, the same interface found on many popular cans. That means you can remove the included 5/8×24 direct thread mount and run a wide range of QD systems, including KeyMo and ASR style mounts, making it easy to swap between multiple rifles.
It's designed primarily for bolt-action rifles, but it handles semiauto hosts at moderate rates of fire without issue. It is not full auto rated, so it's not the right pick for hard-use rapid fire schedules. For hunting and precision work on a gas gun, it's well within its lane.
The serial number lives on a dedicated ring rather than the welded core itself. If the core is ever damaged, the factory can replace it without losing alignment or concentricity, and without the hassle that comes with a serialized core. It's a smart bit of insurance on a tubeless welded suppressor.
