The DURAMAG Speed changes what a 20-round magazine can do. Instead of the traditional straight body, these magazines follow the curve of a standard 30-round design. That curve matters because it creates enough internal space for a full-size anti-tilt follower, which keeps your rounds perfectly aligned as they feed into the chamber. With older straight-bodied 20-rounders, rounds would dive and cause jams. The Speed design eliminates that problem with a geometry that almost completely stops feeding failures.
The body is built from 6061-T6 aluminum and type-III hard-coat anodized, so the pink color is part of the metal itself, not a coating that chips or wears off. The construction uses progressive die tooling, post and hole design, and full robotic welding, which means every magazine comes out consistent. You get a black polymer follower designed specifically for this capacity and caliber to maintain level feeding throughout the mag's life.
Inside you'll find the EverFlex anti-fatigue spring, which maintains tension whether you're running the mag at full capacity or keeping it loaded in storage. T-360 coating on the interior keeps friction low for smooth loading and provides corrosion resistance. The black follower won't shift or tilt, even during aggressive reloads or when carrying the mag on your kit.
