Description

Most factory ARs show up in plain black and leave the furniture upgrades to you. This DB15 skips that step. Diamondback fitted this one with a full B5 Systems package, including the Bravo stock, P Type 23 grip, and a vertical foregrip, all wearing Multicam to match the finished receiver. It's a clean, cohesive look that would cost a fair bit to piece together yourself, and B5 gear has earned its reputation on duty rifles for a reason.

Inside the Diamondback DB15 Multicam

Under the camo, this is a proven direct impingement AR-15 built in Diamondback's Cocoa, Florida facility. The 16-inch nitride-treated barrel carries a 1:8 twist, which stabilizes everything from light 55 grain plinking loads up to heavier 69 and 77 grain match bullets, so you're not locked into one ammo choice. The muzzle is threaded with a standard A2 flash hider installed, easy to swap if you want a brake or a mount for a suppressor down the road. The aluminum receiver set is Cerakoted, topped with a Picatinny rail for optics, and paired with an M-LOK handguard so lights and accessories bolt on wherever you want them.

Ready to Run Out of the Box

Diamondback included some thoughtful touches here that usually end up on your accessories list. Front and rear QD sockets mean a two-point sling attaches in seconds, and a hand stop comes already in the mix along with that vertical foregrip. Feeding duty falls to a 30-round Magpul Gen M3 PMAG with a window, so you can check your round count at a glance. With the six-position stock, overall length adjusts from 33 to 36 inches to fit different shooters and layers of gear.

Where the DB15 Multicam Fits

This setup makes sense as a truck gun, a ranch rifle, or a range carbine for someone who wants character instead of another black rifle. The 30+1 capacity, adaptable furniture, and versatile twist rate cover defensive use, coyote calling, and casual steel-ringing weekends equally well. It's a lot of rifle with very little left to add.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Diamondback DB15 Multicam come with sights or an optic?

No, this model ships without sights. The flat-top receiver has a Picatinny rail, so mounting a red dot, LPVO, or a set of flip-up irons is quick and simple. Most buyers pair it with a red dot for general range and defensive use.

What ammo works best with the 1:8 twist barrel on this DB15?

The 1:8 twist is a great middle ground for 5.56 and .223. It handles common 55 grain range ammo well and also stabilizes heavier 69 to 77 grain match loads. If you plan to shoot a variety of bullet weights, this twist rate gives you the most flexibility.

Can I swap the A2 flash hider on the DB15 for a muzzle brake or suppressor mount?

Yes. The 16-inch barrel has standard threading with the A2 flash hider installed from the factory, so replacing it with a brake, compensator, or suppressor mount is a straightforward job. Just use a crush washer or shims as your new device requires.

Is the Diamondback DB15 made in the USA?

It is. Diamondback Firearms builds the DB15 line at its facility in Cocoa, Florida, machining components in-house. This particular configuration adds American-made B5 Systems furniture and a Magpul PMAG on top of that.
