Carrying a spare magazine appendix style usually means buying a separate mag carrier and finding room on your belt for it. The DeSantis Hidden Truth solves that by molding the holster and mag pouch into one unit. Part of the Pegasus Kydex line from DeSantis, this right-hand rig fits the Glock 19 along with the 19X, 19 Gen 5, 23, 32, and 45, and everything sits together at the front of your waistband where your hands naturally fall.
The whole point of appendix carry is speed, and this setup leans into it. Your draw stroke is short, and because the spare mag rides right next to the pistol, reloads are faster too. No reaching around to your support side hip. The shell is formed from 100% Kydex, giving you a gun-specific fit with solid friction retention. You get that reassuring click when the pistol seats, and reholstering is smooth since the mouth of the holster never collapses. The body-side profile is contoured to follow your waistline, which helps a rig carrying both a pistol and a loaded mag stay comfortable through a full day.
A pair of C clips handles belt attachment, and they do double duty as your adjustment points. Move them to change ride height or tweak the cant until the grip tucks in and the draw angle feels right. The clips are tuckable, so you can run a shirt over the rig for deeper concealment. If you prefer a slimmer look along the beltline, DeSantis offers J clips as an optional accessory that swap on easily.
Made in the USA and finished in black, the Hidden Truth is a smart pick for anyone running a compact Glock who wants their carry gun and reload consolidated into one rig. Fewer pieces on the belt, faster access to everything, and Kydex durability that shrugs off daily wear.
This right-hand model is cut for the Glock 19 and also fits the 19 Gen 5, 19X, 23, 32, and 45 since they share the same frame and slide dimensions where the holster makes contact. It is molded specifically for these pistols, so the fit is snug and the retention is consistent. It is not a universal shell, so other makes and models will not lock in properly.
Yes. The C clips can be repositioned to change both ride height and cant, so you can raise the grip for an easier draw or drop the rig deeper for better concealment. Most people spend a few minutes at home tuning it before it feels dialed in, and once set it stays put.
The Hidden Truth ships with tuckable C clips, which wrap over the belt and allow a shirt to be tucked around the rig. J clips are an optional accessory sold separately that hook under the belt for a lower profile along the beltline. Both attach securely, so it mostly comes down to how discreet you want the clips to look.
Less than you might expect. Because the pouch is molded into the same piece of Kydex as the holster, the footprint is smaller than running a separate holster and mag carrier side by side. The curved body-side profile follows your waistline, and having the reload right next to the gun makes magazine changes noticeably quicker.
