The DeSantis Pro Stealth is built for folks who want their Colt Detective Special carried discreetly without fuss. This is a straightforward, no-nonsense IWB holster that keeps a small-frame revolver tucked close and hidden. You get premium padded ballistic nylon that's durable enough for daily use and flexible enough to keep you comfortable all day long.
The nylon material here isn't some cheap afterthought. It's the same ballistic nylon that started in military body armor, so it actually stands up to real wear and tear. The padding protects your gun from sweat and moisture, which matters if you carry regularly or in humid climates. The smooth finish means drawing is quick and easy, and there are no sharp edges poking into your side. It's stitched solid too, with quality workmanship you can feel in your hands.
The 1.75-inch powder-coated spring clip anchors the holster securely to your belt without any wiggle. Switching from right-hand to left-hand carry is simple, just remove and flip the clip to the opposite side. The clip stays tight through extended use and won't slip around as you move through your day. If you need it to work both ways, this holster handles that without compromise.
This holster keeps your Detective Special tucked in naturally and disappears under casual clothing. The IWB design means deep concealment whether you're wearing a t-shirt, untucked button-up, or anything in between. The design also covers a good portion of the slide, giving extra protection against corrosion if you work in wet or sweaty conditions. Fit is specific to small-frame revolvers like your Colt, so you get the snug retention you need without bulk.
Yes, this holster is specifically sized for the Colt Detective Special 2-inch revolver. It also accommodates similar small-frame revolvers like the Ruger SP101, S&W J-Frame models, and comparable compact revolvers. The fit is snug and precise, so you get solid retention without bulk.
Absolutely. The ambidextrous design lets you remove the powder-coated belt clip and insert it on the opposite side for either-hand carry. It takes just a minute to switch, and the clip stays securely in place once it's installed.
Ballistic nylon is lightweight, doesn't absorb moisture like leather can, and resists wear and deformation over time. It's durable enough for daily carry, stays flexible, and won't harden or crack. The smooth finish also makes drawing quick and easy, and it's simple to clean if needed.
The 1.75-inch powder-coated spring clip is sturdy and keeps the holster anchored tight to your belt without movement. It accommodates belts up to 1.75 inches wide and maintains its hold through active use and extended wear.
