The DeSantis Quantico Undercover is a self-locking outside-the-waistband Kydex holster made for Glock owners who want serious retention without giving up a clean draw. This left-hand model drops in a Glock 17, 17 Gen 5, 19, 19 Gen 5, 19X, 22, 23, 31, 32, or 45 and is built to clear a mounted red dot. It also holds the pistol securely whether or not you've got a Streamlight TLR-7, TLR-7A, or similar-sized light riding the rail, so you're not forced into a light-only setup.
The heart of this holster is a patent-pending lock that seats inside the ejection port and stays engaged until you press the concealed thumb release. That active lock pairs with the passive retention of the molded Kydex shell, giving you a Level II hold that's the standard for plain-clothes officers, off-duty carry, and security work where you want maximum retention but still need speed. The release is tucked out of sight, so it does its job without broadcasting itself to anyone nearby. DeSantis also put the lock through strength testing, and it cleared every standard they threw at it.
Tension is user-adjustable, so you can tune how tight the pistol sits to your own preference. The holster ships with 1 3/4 inch belt loops that work great on a duty belt or a solid gun belt, and those loops can be nudged for a bit of height and cant adjustment to get the ride and angle where you want it. If you run a slimmer belt, DeSantis offers 1 1/2 inch loops separately. The all-Kydex build means it shrugs off sweat and holds its shape over years of daily wear.

Yes. The holster is designed to self-secure with or without a light mounted, so you can carry a bare Glock or one with a Streamlight TLR-7 or TLR-7A attached. The ejection port lock engages either way, so you're not locked into a light-only configuration.
It does. The Quantico Undercover is built to accommodate Glocks running a mounted red dot, so your optic sits clear with no interference. Just make sure your dot is a standard footprint sized to the cut on your slide.
