The Derya Arms DY9 is a striker-fired 9mm that gives you a lot of pistol without the markup. This US-made version, built at Derya's Jacksonville, Florida facility, runs a 3.8 inch barrel with a 10+1 capacity and wears a durable black nitride finish that shrugs off holster wear and range grime. The footprint lands right in that sweet spot made famous by compact duty pistols: small enough to carry comfortably, big enough to shoot well all afternoon.
Up top, the slide comes optics ready with a direct RMR cut, and Derya includes a riser plate so you can mount your red dot and get zeroed without hunting down extra hardware. If you prefer irons, the factory Truglo fiber optics are genuinely good, with a red front and green rear that pull your eye to the target fast, even in flat indoor lighting. This model also adds a loaded chamber indicator on top of the slide for a quick visual check, plus a magazine disconnect on top of the standard firing pin block and trigger safety.
One of the smartest things about the DY9 platform is magazine compatibility. It feeds from Glock 19 and Glock 17 pattern magazines, which means spare mags are cheap, everywhere, and proven. The internals follow that same familiar pattern, so parts and trigger upgrades for Gen 1-4 setups generally drop right in. Out of the box, accuracy is better than the price tag suggests, with rested groups typically under 2 inches at 10 yards.

Yes, the DY9 runs Glock 19 and Glock 17 pattern magazines, including most quality aftermarket options. Extended magazines fit as well since they protrude past the grip. If you run the optional magwell, some Glock 19 mags may need Derya's basepad to seat fully, but factory and most aftermarket mags work fine in the standard setup.
Yes. The slide has a direct RMR cut, and this model includes a riser plate with longer screws so the optic clears the loaded chamber indicator on top of the slide. That covers Trijicon RMR footprint optics, which is one of the most common patterns on the market.
From a rest with good ammo, expect groups under 2 inches at 10 yards and roughly 4 to 6 inches at 25 yards. The factory sights are set for a 25 yard zero, so it may print slightly low at close range with heavier bullets. The Truglo fiber optics make quick sight acquisition easy, and the rear sight can be fine-tuned if needed.
The DY9 is patterned closely on the Gen 3 Glock 19, so many Glock 19 holsters fit, though fit is not guaranteed with every model since the slide profile differs slightly. Internally, Gen 1-4 pattern triggers and many other parts are compatible, which makes upgrades and spares easy to find.
