Description

Dead Air took everything people like about the RXD line and stretched it into pistol-caliber territory with the RXD910Ti. This one is printed as a single continuous piece of 6AL4V Grade 5 titanium, which means no welds, no modular joints to work loose, and a weight of just 11.4 ounces on a can that measures 7.7 inches long and 1.48 inches in diameter. Inside is the patented Triskelion baffle system, the same design that made the RXD456Ti a hit, tuned here to run its quietest on 9mm while still handling the extra bark of 10mm Auto without complaint.

What Makes the RXD910Ti Different

Forward porting near the front of the can shears gas away from the bore line and vents it toward the muzzle, and you feel the payoff immediately: less backpressure coming back at your face, softer recoil, and a sight picture that settles faster between shots. The caliber card runs deep too, covering 5.7x28mm, 9mm, .38 Special, .357 Magnum, 10mm Auto, .300 Blackout, and .400 Legend, with full-auto ratings on 9mm, 10mm, 5.7x28mm, and subsonic .300 BLK. There are no minimum barrel length restrictions, so short hosts are fair game. Worth noting: this is part of the suppressor series Dead Air builds under license from Ruger, so it pairs naturally with guns like the American Centerfire pistol and PC Carbine, though it plays fine with anything wearing the right threads.

Setting Up the RXD910Ti FDE

Out of the box you get a nitride-finished 17-4 PH stainless 1/2×28 piston for tilt-barrel pistols, plus an install tool and quick-start guide. Want to run it on a fixed-barrel host like a PCC? Swap in a fixed mount and you are set. The 7075 aluminum front cap carries R-Series cross-compatibility and comes off easily for cleaning, and the FDE High-Temp Cerakote over titanium shrugs off heat and hard range days. Dead Air backs it all with their lifetime warranty, which tells you how much faith they have in the printed construction.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the RXD910Ti really handle 10mm, or is it just a 9mm can?

It handles 10mm Auto with no problem, including full-auto fire. The internals are tuned so it runs quietest on 9mm, but Dead Air rates it for cartridges up to 10mm bore producing up to 1,900 ft-lbs of muzzle energy. That covers .40 caliber territory and even .400 Legend.

Will the Dead Air RXD910Ti work on a tilt-barrel pistol like a Glock?

Yes, that is exactly what the included 1/2×28 piston is for. The nitride 17-4 PH stainless piston functions as a booster on recoil-operated tilt-barrel pistols so the gun cycles reliably with the can attached. For fixed-barrel hosts like a PC Carbine, you would swap to a fixed mount instead.

Is the RXD910Ti user-serviceable for cleaning?

The core is a sealed, one-piece printed titanium unit, so you do not tear the baffle stack apart. The 7075 aluminum front cap and piston assembly come off easily for maintenance, and since it is optimized for centerfire pistol calibers rather than dirty rimfire loads, buildup stays manageable with regular front-end cleaning.

How does the RXD910Ti compare to other Dead Air pistol cans like the Ghost-M?

The big differences are weight and gas management. At 11.4 ounces of 3D-printed titanium with the Triskelion baffle system and forward porting, the RXD910Ti runs lighter with noticeably less backpressure and softer recoil. The Ghost-M offers modular length adjustment, while this one trades that for a stronger one-piece build and flatter shooting feel.
