Semi-auto pistols with tilting barrels need help cycling once you hang a suppressor off the muzzle. The piston is the heart of the booster system, letting the suppressor stay put for a split second while the barrel moves rearward to unlock the action. One thing worth knowing before you order: it does not work with the Odessa-9, which uses its own mounting system.
