Yes. Any caliber your suppressor is rated for that is .45 or smaller will pass through this cap safely, so you can leave it installed while running 9mm, 5.56, or .30 cal hosts. You just will not get the full performance benefit with those smaller rounds, which is why many owners keep a cap for each caliber they shoot regularly and swap as needed.
