It threads into the industry-standard 1.375×24 HUB interface on the back of your suppressor and converts it into a direct thread can for Accuracy International rifles and other hosts wearing M18x1.5 muzzles. No muzzle brake to buy, no extra hardware, just spin the can on and go shoot.
This insert is machined from 4140 heat-treated alloy steel and wears a QPQ black nitride finish, the same corrosion-resistant treatment Dead Air uses across its mounting hardware. At 0.765 inches long and 1.92 ounces, it adds next to nothing to your setup, which matters when you are already hanging a suppressor off the end of a precision rifle. Direct thread mounting also keeps things concentric and repeatable, so point of impact shift stays minimal when you take the can on and off.
Because the HUB pattern has become the common standard for large-format suppressors, this mount is not limited to the Nomad-30. It fits the full Nomad family, Primal, Sierra-5, Lazarus 6, Sandman-X, and pretty much any other suppressor with 1.375×24 rear threads, including Bravo-style cans from other manufacturers. If your can accepts HUB mounts, this insert will thread right in.

Yes. Since it uses the industry-standard 1.375×24 HUB thread pattern, it fits far more than Dead Air cans. Any suppressor built on the HUB or Bravo-style interface, including models from SilencerCo and other makers, will accept this insert.
M18x1.5 is most commonly found on Accuracy International rifles like the AT and AXMC series, which is why this version carries the AI designation. Some other European precision rifles use this pitch as well. Check your barrel's thread spec before ordering, since M18x1 is a separate mount (LT311).
It depends on how you shoot. Direct thread is lighter, simpler, and typically delivers excellent concentricity with minimal point of impact shift, which makes it a favorite for precision bolt guns and dedicated suppressor hosts. QD systems make more sense if you swap one can between several rifles throughout the day.
