The pistol-length gas system is matched to the 7 inch barrel for consistent function, and the whole thing runs on the same direct impingement operation the AR platform has proven for decades.

The 6 inch M-LOK handguard gives you room for a light or hand stop without adding bulk, and the Magpul MOE grip is a genuine step up from the hard plastic A2 grips a lot of budget builds ship with.
