The 19 inch barrel keeps the rifle quick to shoulder and easy to maneuver in timber or a blind, and the threaded muzzle means you can run a brake or suppressor without a trip to the gunsmith. Up top, a receiver-mounted Picatinny rail gives you a straightforward home for a red dot, scout scope, or thermal, while the fiber optic front sight keeps you covered when you want to run it old school. The adjustable cheek riser is the detail that ties it together, letting you dial your head position for a proper sight picture whether you are behind glass or irons.
The tube magazine holds five rounds with one more in the chamber, which is plenty of .45-70 for hogs, black bear, deer, or anything else you would point a lever gun at. Checkering molded into the synthetic stock and forend keeps your grip locked in with wet gloves or bare hands.
