Magpul took the wildly popular DAKA pouch and sealed it up tight. The DAKA Waterproof Window Pouch Large is built for the moments when a little water resistance just won't cut it, think boat decks, duck blinds, kayak trips, or a range day that turns into a downpour. RF welded construction creates permanent, impenetrable seals across the body, so your phone, documents, electronics, or ammo stay bone dry even if the pouch takes a dunk.
The magic is in the IPX7 rated zipper, which runs laterally along the side of the pouch and keeps water out even when fully submerged. The zipper pull is made from 550 paracord wrapped in heat shrink tubing, so you can grab and open it with cold hands or heavy gloves without fumbling. That polymer-infused material isn't just tough, it's chemical resistant and shrugs off dirt and abrasion the same way the original DAKA line always has.
One side carries a translucent window panel so you can scan your contents without breaking the seal. It's a small touch that saves a lot of digging when you've got several pouches packed up and need to grab the right one fast. Two extra-large carabiner pass-throughs let you clip it to a pack, a boat, a MOLLE panel, or just about anything else.
The Large measures 9 by 13 inches with roughly 3.18 liters of internal volume, giving you plenty of space for bigger electronics, a handgun, range tools, or a stack of essentials you want protected. In Flat Dark Earth, it blends in nicely with the rest of your kit while staying easy to spot in a crowded bag.
Yes, this pouch is built to stay sealed even under water. The IPX7 rated zipper is placed laterally along the side and paired with RF welded seams, so it holds up when submersion is a real possibility. It's designed for situations where plain water resistance isn't enough.
The standard DAKA Window Pouch is highly water resistant but uses an AquaGuard zipper and isn't rated for full submersion. This Waterproof version steps up to an IPX7 sealed zipper for complete, dependable protection when being dunked is a possibility. If you need true waterproofing rather than splash resistance, this is the one to grab.
The Large measures 9 by 13 inches with about 3.18 liters of internal volume. That's enough room for larger electronics, a handgun, range tools, documents, or a good stack of everyday carry gear. It's the biggest option in the Waterproof Window Pouch lineup.
Yes, it has two extra-large carabiner pass-throughs built in. You can clip it to a backpack, boat, kayak, or MOLLE panel without any extra hardware. The oversized openings make it easy to run a carabiner or cord through.
