Magpul took their already popular DAKA pouch and sealed it up tight, and the Large Waterproof Window Pouch is the result. This is the one you reach for when keeping your valuables dry isn't a nice-to-have but a must. The body is built from Magpul's polymer-infused fabric and uses RF welded seams that create permanent, leak-proof seals, so there are no stitched holes for water to sneak through. At 9 by 13 inches with roughly 3.18 liters of internal space, it swallows a surprising amount of gear while staying flat enough to slide into a pack or dry bag.
The real trick here is the zipper. Magpul mounted an IPX7-rated zipper laterally along the side of the pouch, which means it holds up to submersion rather than just shrugging off a light rain. The zipper pull is made from 550 paracord wrapped in heat shrink tubing, so it stays easy to grab when your hands are wet, cold, or stuffed into gloves. A translucent window runs down one side, letting you eyeball the contents and grab what you need without breaking the seal.
This size is a workhorse for first aid kits, electronics, chargers, documents, ammo, a phone and wallet on the boat, or anything else you want shielded from rain, snow, and spray. Two extra-large carabiner pass-throughs let you clip it to a pack, a kayak, a saddle, or the inside of a truck so it doesn't wander off. Kayakers, hunters, overlanders, and anyone who spends time around water tend to find a permanent spot for one of these in their kit.
Finished in classic black, it looks at home in a range bag or a tackle box alike. If you already run DAKA organization and want a version that handles a full dunk, this is the piece that rounds out the system.
It's built to handle submersion, not just a drizzle. Magpul uses an IPX7-rated side zipper combined with RF welded seams, which creates permanent sealed edges with no stitching for water to leak through. That makes it a solid pick for kayaking, boating, or any situation where the pouch might end up underwater.
The Large measures 9 by 13 inches with about 3.18 liters of internal volume. That's plenty of room for a first aid kit, electronics and chargers, documents, ammo, or your phone and wallet. It stays flat enough to tuck into a pack or dry bag without taking up much extra space.
One side of the pouch has a translucent panel so you can see what's inside at a glance. That saves you from unzipping and digging around, which is handy when you're organizing gear or trying to grab something fast. It pairs well with the rest of the DAKA lineup for keeping a kit sorted.
Yes. It has two extra-large carabiner pass-throughs that let you clip it to a backpack, kayak, saddle, or just about any anchor point. The 550 paracord zipper pull is also easy to grab with wet hands or gloves, which helps when you're out in the elements.
