Both barrels are chambered for 3 inch shells and threaded for choke tubes, and CZ includes five flush-fit chokes running from Cylinder up to Full, so you can set up tight for late-season pheasants or open things way up for woodcock in the thick stuff. A brass front bead rides on the 8mm flat rib, the tang-mounted safety falls right under your thumb, and extractors lift the hulls for easy hand removal, which the empty-pocket crowd will appreciate. It ships with five flush-fit chokes covering Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified, and Full, plus a choke wrench. Both 28 inch barrels are threaded, so you can run a different constriction in each and use the double triggers to pick the right one for the shot.
The front trigger fires the right barrel and the rear trigger fires the left. Since each barrel can wear a different choke, you effectively get instant choke selection depending on whether a bird flushes close or hangs out at the edge of range. The tang-mounted safety locks both triggers until you slide it forward.
The chambers accept both 2-3/4 inch and 3 inch 28 gauge shells. That gives you room to run light target loads for clays and close-cover birds or step up to heavier 3 inch loads when pheasants are on the menu.
