The Warne 7755M takes the factory 11mm dovetail on your CZ 452 or 455 and turns it into a full Picatinny platform. That opens the door to the huge world of modern rings, red dots, and scopes that mount to a standard pic rail, instead of fighting with limited 11mm dovetail ring options. It's a one-piece base, so everything lines up on a single plane and stays put once it's torqued down.
The 15 MOA built-in slope is the part worth paying attention to. It angles your optic slightly forward, which gives back elevation adjustment in your scope's internals. For a rimfire that drops hard past 50 yards, that extra room lets you dial out to longer distances without running out of travel or sitting at the very bottom of your scope's range. If you like ringing steel way out there with your .22, this is the base that makes it practical.
Warne machines this base from 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum and finishes it with a Mil-Spec hardcoat anodize, so it shrugs off scratches, weather, and the general abuse a hunting or plinking rifle takes. The clamping hardware is black zinc coated for extra corrosion protection, and the self-centering tapered T-15 Torx screws help the base seat square and consistent every time you snug it down. It tips the scale at right around 1.9 ounces, so you're adding a real mounting surface without weighing down a light rimfire.
This one is cut specifically for the CZ 452 and 455 11mm dovetail. It is not the version for the newer CZ 457, so make sure your receiver matches before ordering. Once it's on, you've got a clean Picatinny rail ready for whatever glass you want to run.
No, this 7755M is cut specifically for the CZ 452 and 455 11mm dovetail. The CZ 457 uses a different base, Warne's 7757M. Check your receiver model before ordering so you get the right fit.
The 15 MOA angle tilts your optic slightly forward, which gives back elevation adjustment inside your scope. Since rimfire rounds drop quickly at distance, that extra travel lets you dial out to longer ranges without running out of adjustment. It's a nice advantage if you shoot past 50 yards regularly.
Once the base is installed, you have a standard Picatinny rail, so you can run just about any Picatinny or Weaver style rings, scopes, or red dots. That's a big step up from being limited to 11mm dovetail rings. It's also listed as NATO-STANAG compatible.
It's CNC machined from 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum with a Mil-Spec hardcoat anodized finish for scratch and corrosion resistance. The hardware is black zinc coated for extra weather protection. It holds up well to hunting and field use while staying light at around 1.9 ounces.
