The CVA Wolf V2 Scope Package takes the guesswork out of getting into muzzleloading. This is CVA's best-selling platform for good reason, and the PR2120SSCP version comes with a bore-sighted KonuShot 3-9x32mm scope already mounted on a DuraSight DEAD-ON one-piece base, a soft rifle case, and a 15-pack of 300-grain PowerBelt AeroLite bullets. Chambered in .50 caliber magnum with a 24-inch stainless steel barrel and a 1:28 twist rate, it's set up to stabilize modern saboted and full-bore bullets for tight groups out to real hunting distances.
The break-action design opens with a push of the button ahead of the trigger guard, so loading, unloading, and cleaning are simple and fast. The star of the show is CVA's QRBP, the Quick-Release Breech Plug, which backs out with just a twist of your fingers even after 20-plus shots. No tools, no stuck plugs, no wrestling with carbon buildup at the end of a long range session. The bullet-guiding muzzle also helps you seat projectiles straight and consistent every time.
The Realtree APX synthetic stock is 100% ambidextrous, pairing with a reversible hammer spur so righties and lefties are equally at home. A 1-inch stock spacer lets you fine-tune the length of pull, and the CrushZone recoil pad soaks up a good chunk of the kick that comes with heavy magnum loads. At right around 6.25 pounds and 39 inches overall, the Wolf V2 carries light and comes up fast when a deer steps out.
Because the scope arrives bore-sighted and the mount is factory installed, you can get to the range, confirm your zero, and be hunt-ready in short order. Toss in the included soft case and that starter pack of PowerBelt AeroLite bullets, and this is about as turnkey as a muzzleloader setup gets.
Just about. The KonuShot 3-9x32mm scope arrives bore-sighted and already mounted on the factory-installed DuraSight DEAD-ON base. You'll still want to confirm your zero at the range with your chosen load before heading out, but the setup, mounting, and starter bullets are all handled for you.
It ships with a 15-pack of 300-grain PowerBelt AeroLite bullets to get you started. The .50 caliber barrel has a 1:28 twist, which stabilizes modern saboted and full-bore projectiles well, so you've got plenty of room to experiment and find the load your rifle shoots best.
The Quick-Release Breech Plug is one of the standout features of the Wolf V2. It backs out with a simple twist of your fingers, no tools required, even after 20 or more shots. That makes end-of-day cleaning quick and keeps carbon buildup from seizing things up.
Yes. The Realtree APX synthetic stock is 100% ambidextrous and the hammer spur is reversible, so lefties and righties are both covered. A 1-inch stock spacer also lets you adjust the length of pull to better fit your frame or a younger shooter.
