The 20 inch barrel is 416 stainless steel with a Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish, fluted to trim weight, and rifled with a 1:9 twist that handles a wide range of .223 bullet weights. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 and ships with a radial brake installed, so you can run it as-is or spin on a suppressor, which pairs beautifully with a break action since there's no gas system or reciprocating parts to add noise. Up top, a 0 MOA Picatinny rail makes scope mounting quick and painless. Note that there are no iron sights, so plan on glass or a red dot.
CVA put real thought into the stock on this one. The Duck Camo synthetic buttstock has an adjustable comb with two included risers, a quarter inch and a half inch, so you can get proper eye alignment behind a scope. A removable 1 inch spacer lets you shorten the length of pull for smaller framed or younger hunters, which is a big part of why this rifle works so well as a first centerfire. The action is fully ambidextrous with a reversible hammer spur, the external hammer keeps operation simple and deliberate, and a hammer block safety rounds out the package. Steel sling swivel studs come standard for carry in the field.

No iron sights or scope are included. The rifle comes with a 0 MOA Picatinny rail machined for optics, so mounting a scope or red dot is quick and straightforward. Most owners top it with a compact hunting scope to take advantage of the .223's reach.
It's one of the better options out there for that job. The single-shot design encourages careful, deliberate shooting, .223 recoil is mild, and the stock adjusts to fit smaller frames with a removable 1 inch spacer and two comb risers. As the shooter grows, the stock adjusts right back.
