Description
If you carry a Kimber Micro 9, the LG-409 Lasergrips are built specifically for your compact pistol. They slip in where your original grips go, using your existing grip screws, so there's nothing complicated about the installation. What you get is a red laser sight permanently integrated into the grips themselves, ready to work the moment you need it.
The activation is where these grips shine. You don't have to think about turning anything on. Just grip the pistol the way you naturally would, and the pressure-activated front pad brings the laser to life. Your middle finger naturally falls right on it whether you're shooting right or left-handed. When you're done, there's a master on/off switch on the left side panel to power it down completely.
Slim Design Fitted to Kimber's Micro Platform
Crimson Trace engineered these to be some of the slimmest laser grips they make. The rubber overmolded activation pad blends into durable polymer construction, so they maintain the compact profile that makes the Micro 9 so shootable in tight holsters. They work with Micro 9 models that have ambidextrous safeties and will fit Micro 9 and Micro 9 Black Ice variants.
What Powers the Red Laser
Two CR2032 lithium batteries power the system and deliver over four hours of continuous use. The laser is factory sighted at 50 feet and puts down a approximately 0.50 inch dot at that distance. You can dial it in yourself using the included windage and elevation adjustment tools if you want to shift the zero somewhere else. The laser outputs 5mW at 633nm wavelength, which puts a clean red dot on target that's easy to see in most conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do these Lasergrips activate?
The LG-409 uses instinctive activation through a pressure-sensitive front pad built into the grip. When you hold your Micro 9 in a normal shooting grip, your middle finger naturally presses the pad and the laser comes on immediately. A master on/off switch on the left side lets you completely power down the unit when not in use.
Do I need a gunsmith to install these grips?
No. The LG-409 installs in just a few minutes using your Kimber's original grip screws. There's no gunsmithing required. Just remove the original grips, drop in the laser grips, and secure them with your existing screws. The adjustment tools for windage and elevation are included.
How long do the batteries last?
Two CR2032 lithium batteries power the laser for over four hours of continuous use under normal operating conditions. These are common batteries that you can find almost anywhere, and they come included with the grips.
Can I use these Lasergrips with the Kimber Micro 380?
No, the LG-409 is designed specifically for the Micro 9. If you have a Micro .380 (ACP), Crimson Trace makes the LG-478 model for that platform instead.
