The Cross Armory CRSL Stock Lock takes the adjustable buttstock you already own and locks it down into a fixed position on the buffer tube. No permanent changes to your rifle, no roll pins, no welding, and no reason to go out and buy a dedicated fixed stock. It clamps on, holds tight, and comes back off with the same two Allen wrenches that ship in the package.
Most fixed stock workarounds tie you to the roll pin holes on the buffer tube, which limits where the stock can sit. The CRSL clamps anywhere along the exposed buffer tube, so you can set your length of pull where it feels right instead of settling for the nearest pin hole. Once it's torqued down, the buttstock won't budge, which is exactly the point.
