The Cross Armory CRGMCRD swaps that out for an extended release with a longer footprint and reworked geometry, so your thumb finds it faster and drops the mag with less fumbling. It wears a bold red anodized finish, which is a nice touch if you're building out a two-tone or color-matched Glock.
This one is CNC machined, not cast, from 7075-T6 billet aircraft aluminum, which is about as strong as it gets in this class of part. The anodizing does double duty here, adding corrosion resistance and giving the catch that clean red color that holds up to daily handling. Cross Armory shaped the release to sit proud enough for a positive press without the bulk that snags on a holster or clothing during the draw, so it works well on both a range gun and a carry setup.
