The Cross Armory CRG5OKRD is a three-piece control upgrade built for Gen5 Glocks, and it hits the sweet spot between function and a little bit of flash. Inside the pack you get a dimpled pin set, an extended magazine catch, and an extended slide lock, all wearing a bright red anodized finish. It's the kind of upgrade that gives your pistol a custom feel without touching the parts that matter for reliability.
The slide lock and pin set are machined from 4140 steel, while the magazine catch is CNC-cut aluminum. That mag catch is where a lot of folks notice the biggest difference day to day. Cross Armory shaped it with a ramped profile that guides your thumb naturally up from the frame, so reloads come faster and cleaner under pressure. It's extended enough to give your thumb a bigger target, but it stays low-profile so it won't snag on clothing or hang up coming out of a holster.
The extended slide lock gives you more surface area to grab when you're breaking the pistol down for cleaning, which anyone with a factory slide lock and slightly stiff fingers will appreciate. The dimpled pins swap in for your factory pins and add a nice detailed touch when you're looking at the frame. None of these parts require gunsmithing. Most people can knock out the full install at the bench in a few minutes with a punch and a little patience.
