Crickett Precision Rifle .22 LR 16.1in Threaded Bull Barrel 2A Print

Description

There is something about handing a kid a rifle that looks like the real deal. The Crickett Precision Rifle takes the classic single-shot Crickett action and drops it into a chassis-style synthetic stock modeled after full-size precision rigs, this one wearing a red, white, and blue Second Amendment print that stands out on any rack. Model KSA2150-AMD is the rifle-only configuration, so you get the blued receiver topped with a Crickettinny rail that accepts Weaver or Picatinny style rings, leaving optic choice up to you.

A Trainer Built Around Safety First

The action is where this little rifle earns its reputation as a first gun. It is a manual-cocking, single-shot bolt action, which means loading a round and closing the bolt does not make it ready to fire. The shooter has to deliberately pull the cocking piece before each shot, and the rebounding firing pin is automatically blocked to help prevent accidental discharge. One round at a time also happens to be a great way to teach a new shooter to make every shot count. The EZ Load feed ramp guides each cartridge into the chamber, so small fingers are not fumbling rounds at the range.

Crickett Precision Features That Grow With Them

The 16.10 inch blued bull barrel is threaded 1/2-28 at the muzzle, so adding a brake or other muzzle device down the road is simple. The stock includes an adjustable cheek comb to get a proper eye line behind whatever optic you mount, and the length of pull can be tuned with Keystone's spacer system as your kid stretches out. Integrated accessory rails on the forend and buttstock leave room for a bipod or monopod later on.

At roughly 3.6 pounds, it is light enough for a young marksman to handle all afternoon, whether that is plinking cans, first squirrel hunts, or youth rimfire matches. American made, kid sized, and sharp looking, this is the kind of rifle that gets passed down.
