The heart of the LE6920 SOCOM is its true 14.5-inch SOCOM heavy-profile barrel, complete with the iconic M203 flats hiding under the rail. That thicker profile was adopted by the military to hold up under sustained rapid fire, and it gives this carbine a noticeably solid feel up front. The extended A2 flash hider is pinned and welded to bring the total length to 16.1 inches, so it transfers like any standard rifle. The bore is chrome lined with a 1:7 twist that stabilizes everything from light 55 grain plinking loads to heavy 77 grain match ammo.
Under the hood you get M4 feed ramps, an M16-style bolt carrier, and an H2 buffer, the same recipe that keeps carbines running through hard use.
