You get a 2 inch blued barrel, a deep black finish over a steel frame, and a cylinder that holds 10 rounds of .22 LR instead of the usual six. The .22 LR cartridge is much smaller in diameter than the .357 Magnum the centerfire King Cobra runs, so Colt fit 10 chambers into the same size cylinder. That gives you nearly double the rounds per cylinder full, which is a real perk during long plinking sessions. Aftermarket 10-round rimfire speedloaders are available if you want faster reloads.
It's one of the best reasons to own one. It shares the same grip feel, trigger setup, and controls as Colt's centerfire King Cobra, so the muscle memory you build transfers directly. You get real revolver practice with almost zero recoil and ammo that costs a fraction of .38 or .357.
