Most precision AR stocks force you to pick between adjustability and a compact footprint. B5 Systems went a different route with the Collapsible Precision Stock Short, building a stock that dials in like a bench-ready precision rig but still slides on a standard Mil-Spec carbine or A5 receiver extension. That means you get fine cheek and length-of-pull tuning plus gross length adjustment from the receiver extension itself, which is a level of flexibility you don't usually find in this category. It carries over the cheek profile from B5's SOPMOD and Bravo stocks, so it feels familiar the moment you shoulder it.
Both the cheek comb and the buttpad ride on precision dials, so you can raise your comb height and fine-tune length of pull tool-lessly until your eye lines up naturally behind the optic. There's a gross length-of-pull adjustment handled by a low-profile pull-down lever with a lockout, which keeps your setting exactly where you put it. Twelve internal tensioners clamp the stock to the buffer tube to take out the wobble and slop that plague a lot of adjustable stocks over time. If you want more comb height, the mounting slots accept an accessory cheekpiece.
This is Mil-Spec through and through, made in the USA with color-matched machined hardware and a no-slip cushioned buttpad that stays put under recoil. You get ambidextrous fixed sling mounts along with steel anti-rotational QD sockets, and there's an M-LOK slot on the underside for a bipod, monopod, or bag rider. Fully collapsed, the Short clears an M110-style charging handle, and it plays nicely with a Law Tactical folding adapter when you want to shrink things down for transport.
It works equally well on a precision AR-15 build, a PRS or NRL-style competition gun, a DMR setup, or a hunting rifle where a repeatable, comfortable cheek weld matters. The Olive Drab finish keeps it looking clean on earth-tone builds.
It slides onto standard Mil-Spec carbine receiver extensions, and it's also compatible with A5 and M110K tubes. That gross-adjustment flexibility from the buffer tube is a big part of what sets this stock apart from fixed precision stocks. Just make sure you're running a Mil-Spec diameter tube and not a commercial one.
Yes. The Short is designed to work with a Law Tactical folding stock adapter when you want to fold the rifle down for compact storage or transport. Fully collapsed, it clears an M110-style charging handle, which helps keep the folded package tidy.
Both the cheek comb and the buttpad ride on precision dials that adjust tool-lessly, so you can fine-tune comb height and length of pull by hand. There's also a pull-down lever with a lockout for gross length changes that locks your setting in place. It makes getting a repeatable cheek weld behind an optic quick and consistent.
It has an M-LOK slot on the underside, which is handy for a bag rider, monopod, or other rear support in a precision setup. It also has ambidextrous fixed sling mounts plus steel anti-rotational QD sockets for your sling. If you want extra comb height, the mounting slots accept a separate accessory cheekpiece.
