This version wears the brand's signature Cobalt Green finish over billet 7075 T6 upper and lower receivers, with an integrated trigger guard and a 6061 semi-monolithic seven-sided M-LOK handguard that locks up tight to the upper. It looks sharp, but everything on it is there to earn its keep.
The 11.5 inch barrel is 4150 CMV with a melonite treatment for corrosion and wear resistance, spun with a 1:7 right hand twist that stabilizes everything from 55 grain plinking loads up through 77 grain match ammo. Cobalt tops it with their RCB-6 muzzle device, which doubles as a mount for Cobalt, CGS, and SpectreCat pattern suppressors, so you're already set up if a can is in your future. Behind that sits a full-auto rated bolt carrier group with an 8620 carrier, Carpenter 158 bolt, and a billet extractor. The A5-length buffer system with an anti-tilt buffer smooths out the recoil impulse noticeably compared to a standard carbine setup, especially on a short gas system like this.
You get an ambidextrous charging handle and ambi safety lever right out of the box, plus a QD endplate for quick sling attachment and an enhanced single stage trigger that breaks cleaner than anything you'd expect on a factory gun. The SB Tactical SBA3 brace adjusts through five positions, keeping the whole package compact for vehicle work, home defense staging, or just knocking around the range.

Yes. It ships with Cobalt's RCB-6 muzzle device, which serves as a quick-detach mount for Cobalt Kinetics, CGS, and SpectreCat pattern suppressors. If you run one of those cans, you can attach it without swapping any parts. For other suppressors, the barrel accepts standard muzzle devices.
The 1:7 twist rate handles a wide range of bullet weights well. It really shines with heavier 62 to 77 grain loads, which also retain velocity better out of the 11.5 inch barrel, but it will stabilize common 55 grain range ammo just fine for practice.
The charging handle and safety lever are ambidextrous, which covers the controls most left-handed users care about during regular use. The bolt catch and magazine release are single-sided on this model. Cobalt does make a separate Pro Lite AMBI version if fully mirrored controls are a must for you.
It runs an A5-length buffer system with Cobalt's anti-tilt buffer. This setup gives the action a longer, smoother stroke than a standard carbine buffer, which softens the recoil impulse and helps keep short-barreled 5.56 guns running reliably, suppressed or unsuppressed.
