The FX7 action is one of the more interesting bolt guns to come along in recent years. Faxon designed it with a six-lug bolt arranged in two rows of three, which gives it strong lockup and a short, quick bolt throw, and it keeps the Remington 700 footprint so you have a huge aftermarket to draw from down the road. This build wears a 16 inch spiral fluted barrel that is threaded at the muzzle, ready for your brake or suppressor. The fluting trims weight and looks sharp doing it, while the shorter barrel keeps the whole rifle handy for truck guns, tripod work, and calling setups where you are moving between stands.

A TriggerTech Primary trigger handles fire control with the crisp, consistent break that brand is known for, and it makes a real difference when you are stretching this cartridge out past where most .22 centerfires give up.
