The Mk47 is not a standard AR-15 with a caliber swap. It is CMMG's dedicated mid-size platform, sitting between AR-15 and AR-10 dimensions, with billet 7075-T6 aluminum receivers and PowerBolt technology to handle the tapered Soviet cartridge without beating itself up. The 8 inch 4140 chrome moly barrel wears a salt bath nitride finish, spins bullets through a 1:10 twist, and comes capped with CMMG's ZEROED linear compensator on 5/8×24 threads.
